Lotus Medical & Aesthetics is now offering Primary Care and Walk-In care services located in Ellsworth, Maine. With over 15 years of experience providing care to the residents and neighbors of Mount Desert Island, Dr. Heniser is a Board Certified Family Practice physician specializing in comprehensive primary care and emergent care needs.
We offer packages for those wanting to establish as a Primary Care patient with Dr. Heniser. We are a concierge medical practice utilizing a Direct Patient Care approach. This means that we contract directly with the patient for their care and not with insurance companies. We do not submit claims to insurance companies for your visits, but will happily assist you with the necessary information if you decide to submit your own claim to your insurance for reimbursement. This approach allows us to keep the insurance companies from playing a direct role in the Provider-Patient relationship. This means we get to keep a smaller patient panel and focus our time and effort on you, the patient, and not on the hassles of dealing with insurance companies. We offer packages that allow patients to choose what level of concierge care they would like to have for themselves and their family.
